Protection of public order: the results of the work of the National Guard patrols over the past week
In the period from May 10 to 16 of this year, the personnel of the NGU were engaged in service in 21 regional centers of the state and the city of Kyiv, as well as in 35 cities of regional and district subordination, 6 rural settlements. Also during the past week, guards patrolled the territory of railway stations in Kharkiv and Dnipro and bus station in Mariupol. National Guard troops continue to actively participate in measures to combat the spread of COVID-19 in Ukraine.
In particular, they protect the territories of 7 facilities for hospitalization of patients with coronavirus, observation (isolation) in 5 cities (Kiev, Odessa, Kherson, Sumy and Kremenchug).
This week, the Guards ensured law and order at 58 mass events:
during public actions near state authorities, during memorial days in Chernihiv and Vinnytsia,
during the stay in Odessa seaport of the US Navy ship “Hamilton”; near judicial institutions,
during sports events, etc. Preventive measures to prevent illegal mining of amber continue on territories of Volyn, Rivne and
Zhytomyr regions.
Also, guards take part in preventive measures on the territory of 9 settlements of the state in places and areas with the most difficult criminogenic situation.
Also, the soldiers of the National Guard took part in search activities on the territory of the city. Mykolaiv and s. Malozimenovo of the Odessa region.
In total, according to the results of the service last week, the National Guard patrols handed over 113 people to the National Police on suspicion of committing crimes, 1 thousand 746 people for administrative offenses.
Detainees seized:: 3 pistols, 11 rounds, 1 piece of cold weapons, 0.248 kg of narcotic substances, 4 motor pumps. Returned property in the amount of 55 thousand 112 hryvnias.
The patrol units of the NGU continue to ensure law and order in the area of operation of the Joint Forces in Severodonetsk and Rubezhny Luhansk regions, Mariupol, Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Konstantinovka, Druzhkivka — in the Donetsk region.
According to the results of the service, 10 people were transferred to the National Police on suspicion of committing criminal offenses, and 38 people for administrative offenses.

Kryvyi Rih. On May 10, the patrol of the police department 3011 of the NGU detained two citizens under Art. 309 CCU in which, during a surface inspection, a narcotic substance weighing 50 grams was detected. The investigative and operational team of the territorial IP was called to the scene.
On May 11, guards together with police officers, during preventive measures to prevent illegal extraction of amber, in the territory of Rivne region, found 2 motor pumps, which were seized in accordance with the requirements of Art. 240 KKU.
Kherson. On May 12, the auto patrol of V/h 3056 of the NGU detained a citizen for art. 309 CCU, in which, during a surface inspection, a narcotic substance of synthetic origin weighing 15 grams was detected. The investigative and operational team of the territorial IP was called to the scene.
On May 12, the military personnel of the NGU together with the NPU, during preventive measures to prevent the illegal extraction of amber in the Rivne region, found 2 motor pumps, which were seized in accordance with the requirements of Art. 240 KKU.
Zaporizhzhia. On May 13, the auto patrol of V/h 3033 of the NGU detained a man for art. 296, 263 of the Criminal Code, who committed hooligan acts using a pistol without the appropriate permits. The investigative and operational team of the regional OP was called to the scene.
Zhytomyr. On May 14, the patrol of the police department 3047 of the NGU detained a citizen under Art. 263 of the Criminal Code, in which, during a surface inspection, a pistol was found without the appropriate permits. The investigative and operational team of the regional OP was called to the scene.
Kremenchuk. On May 15, the patrol of the police department 3059 of the NGU detained a man for art. 263 CCU, in which, during a surface inspection, a pistol without the appropriate permits and two 9 mm rounds to it were found. Nikolaev. On May 15, the auto patrol of V/h 3039 of the NGU together with the NPU detained a man for art. 263 CCU, in which, during a surface inspection, seven rounds of hunting weapons were found. The investigative and operational team of the regional OP was called to the scene.
Odessa. On May 15, the patrol of V/h 3012 of the NGU detained nine citizens under Art. 309 CCU in which, during surface inspections, narcotic substances of synthetic and vegetable origin with a total weight of 44 grams were detected. The investigative and operational team of the territorial IP was called to the scene.
Nikolaev. On May 15, the patrol of the police department 3039 of the NGU detained a man for art. 309 CCU, in which three tablets of methadone weighing 1.5 grams and 20 ampoules of dimedrol with a volume of 20 ml were detected during a surface test.
