Odessa State University of Internal Affairs in the framework of participation in the program of microfinancing of women's initiatives within the project of the National Democratic Institute “Promotion of Women's Political Participation in Ukraine” with the support of the Fund for the Development of Effective Governance of Great Britain, presented the project “Formation of zero tolerance in police cadets to the manifestations of discrimination and sexism.”

ODUVS has developed informational and educational materials for cadets.

These are informational signs for police officers on the topic: “No discrimination, sexism and gender-based violence in the service and in personal life”, stickers with motivational inscriptions “Gender equality as a lifestyle. Cadets drive change” and bracelets with motivational inscriptions "#Поліція free from sexism and discrimination”. The European Court of Human Rights has repeatedly stated in its case-law that today the promotion of gender equality is the main objective of the member states of the Council of Europe, and that references to traditions, common assumptions or prevailing social attitudes are insufficient to justify the difference in attitudes on the basis of sex.
