The accused of the murder of the “spotter” in Transcarpathia was informed of the suspicion — he is on the sanctions list of the National Security and Defense Council
Criminal “authority” is suspected of collecting a non-existent debt from the director of a private enterprise. The funds were to be directed to the so-called criminal “commons”.
It is known that the attacker has been repeatedly convicted, in particular for premeditated murder and robbery. It has significant links with criminality in Transcarpathia and the status of a so-called “spotter” for one of the districts in the region. Taking advantage of this, he demanded from the director of one of the local enterprises a “debt” to replenish the “commons”. At the same time, he pressured psychologically, threatening physical abuse.
As a result, according to the materials of the Operatives of the Directorate of Strategic Investigations in the Transcarpathian Region, the investigators of the Regional Police Department under the procedural leadership of the Transcarpathian Regional Prosecutor's Office informed the criminal “authority” about the suspicion under Part 2 of Article 189 (extortion) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The issue of choosing a preventive measure for a man in the form of detention is being resolved. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing. It
should be noted that the suspect is among 111 criminal “authorities” included in the sanctions list of the National Security and Defense Council.
