National guards helped to detain the detonator in Kamianets-Podilskyi
On July 15, around 7:30 p.m., the Guard Auto-Patrol of Military Unit 3053 was moving along one of the patrol routes in Kamianets-Podilskyi, when the tablet received a message of gunfire on Rozvodovskogo Street. According to the duty military outfit Lieutenant Andrei Mikhalyuk, they arrived at the place of the call seven minutes later and immediately began to help the police officers.
“We arrived at the scene together with emergency workers. Police officers were already working there, whom we helped to detain a citizen who had detonated a grenade near a store a few minutes earlier. Medics helped the victims of the explosion. And our military outfit began to protect the scene together with police officers. Together we blocked the traffic. Later, pyrotechnics specialists arrived at the scene of the explosion,” said Lieutenant Andriy Mykhalyuk.
All those injured as a result of the explosion were hospitalized in Kamianets-Podolsk City Hospital and are currently receiving medical assistance.
The explosion injured 6 people, including a 4-year-old child. The detained person who probably committed the subversion was a previously convicted 60-year-old citizen of Kamianets-Podolsky.
