Border guards detained illegal migrants in Transcarpathia
Yesterday at 7 am, the border guards of the “Fork” department detained one citizen of Tajikistan on the bank of Tisa.
Two other unknown people who were nearby managed to escape, so the border guards immediately informed the next unit, which sent a response team to the specified area.
Within a few minutes, the border guards detained an Armenian citizen. He retreated only a few hundred meters from the site of his first arrest and approached the river again to try to force a water barrier on his way to his dream abroad.
Both detainees were taken to the border unit to clarify the circumstances of the offense.
In the end, the border guards established that both foreigners arrived in Ukraine with a difference of a few days in a completely legal way through car checkpoints. A third person, who was noticed by border guards during the detention of a citizen of Tajikistan, according to the offenders, turned out to be a conductor. Seeing the danger, he left his wetsuits, left his “wards” and threw up his heels. Measures to search for the carrier are ongoing.
In the evening of the same day, the border guards of the “Kosyne” department of the Mukachevo detachment received information about the movement of two unknown people towards the state border.
Border guards immediately went to search for violators. Initially, they detained a Chevrolet car driven by a Pakistani citizen with two passengers - also citizens of this country. It took border guards only 8 minutes to search for the other two individuals who had separated from the group earlier.
In relation to four Pakistani citizens, law enforcement officers will draw up administrative protocols under Art. 204-1 “Illegal crossing or attempted illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine” and will deliver the detainees to the point of temporary detention of the border guard, but the driver who had a temporary residence permit on the territory of Ukraine will not be held solely by administrative responsibility, because the previous legal qualification in relation to him representatives of the National Police held under Art. 332 of the Criminal Code “Illegal transfer of persons across the state border of Ukraine”.
