In Ternopil region, a postal worker will appear in court for appropriation of other people's funds
More than seventy-eight thousand hryvnias were appropriated by a postal worker. The investigation into the fact of appropriation, embezzlement or possession of other people's property by abuse of her official position is completed, the materials are sent to the court. The woman accepted payments from the population for gas and light, giving them receipts of the F-47 form.
She did not reflect the profits in the cash report, but kept the money for herself. Residents of one of the villages of the
Monastyrysky district learned about the offenses only after representatives of communal services came to them with a check. Residents of the settlement were accused of massively not paying for the gas and light consumed during April-June.
People began to deny their debts and as evidence - provided receipts that turned out to be invalid and not recorded anywhere. This fact was registered with the police and began to judicial investigation on the fact of appropriation, embezzlement or possession of other people's property by abuse of one's official position — part 2 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
After everything became known, the suspect returned all the funds. The investigation into this case was completed - the police officers sent the
case to court. Now the fate of the offender will be decided by the court.
