On land and on water: On Independence Day, a river parade of boats will take place on the Dnieper
Today, August 20, boats of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Border Service of Ukraine, the National Police and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine conducted joint training exercises.
This year, for the first time in the years of Ukraine's independence, a demonstration of joint actions of the forces of the security and defense sector of the state will be held on the Dnieper River near the Kiev River Station. Also, ships and boats will be solemnly held in the waters of the Black Sea.
In total, almost 100 law enforcement officers and military personnel and 20 boats and vessels were involved in the joint training, which worked out the solemn passage and demonstrated some elements of the planned demonstration actions.
From the Maritime Guard of the State Border Service in the parade on the water will take part: 2 boats Safe Boat 27 10 of a separate operational response detachment “Dozor” and a small boat of the Maritime Guard UMS-1000.
From the National Police of Ukraine: 4 multifunctional boats TUNA UMS 600, boat 865 CABIN, special assault boat Spirit 585.
From the State Emergency Service of Ukraine: air-cushion rescue boat “MARS-700”, fireboat “UMS-865", self-propelled motor vessel “Crownline 270 CR”, mining boat “SKR SPRUT”, diving and rescue boat “Rescuer 101”.
During the training there was a demonstration demonstration of assistance to the emergency boat with the landing of the rescue parachute and landing group. Exhausted landing of special purpose and landing groups on the coast involving Willard and BTR-80 speed boats.
It is expected that the naval aviation of the Navy, the aviation of the Air Force and the Army aviation of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces will also be involved in the event. In particular, the flight of Su-25 aircraft, Mi-8 and Mi-14PCH helicopters will take place. The event will end with the passage of tugs from the fountain and boats of the municipal emergency and rescue service, yachts and boats of the yacht clubs of Kiev.
Recall, the units of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs held the first rehearsal of the parade of the Security and Defense Forces.
