The men established a scheme for the sale of drug-containing pills from the countries of the European Union. Tablets were sold exclusively in wholesale batches in the territory of four regions. In order not to get into the field of view of law enforcement officers, various methods of conspiracy were used: from reconnaissance of the agreed meeting place with a potential client to the use of cards of various mobile operators, including foreign countries.

Operatives of the Narcotics Control Department in Ivano-Frankivsk and Khmelnytsky regions of the Department for Combating Narcotics of the National Police together with employees of the SBU, investigators of the regional head and under the procedural guidance of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Prosecutor's Office documented the activities the two men who established the supply of drug-containing pills from abroad and their sale in the territory of the region and other regions of the state.

Two residents of the city of Kalush were engaged in the criminal “business”: a 44-year-old man previously convicted of hooliganism, robbery attacks, and his 33-year-old comrade.

Drug-containing pills were sold exclusively to wholesalers in large batches on the territory of Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Khmelnytsky and Chernivtsi regions, which, in turn, were sold to local drug dealers.

Pills were sold at different prices, from 200 to 400 hryvnias, depending on the quantity. And in other regions, local small sellers — for 550-650 hryvnias.

The monthly turnover from sales amounted to more than one million hryvnias.

They are known to have carefully planned and masked their illegal actions. In particular, as part of the conspiracy, during the next transactions, dealers arrived at the agreed place in 2-3 hours and carried out reconnaissance of the area. In addition, “their own people” were involved in this, who observed and in which case warned about suspicious people and vehicles.

Yesterday, law enforcement officers detained intruders during the transfer of goods “from hand to hand”.

As a result of an urgent search in the car, police officers seized drug-containing pills and mobile phones.

Two defendants were detained under the order of Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

The issue of notifying defendants of suspicion of committing a criminal offense, provided for in Part 3 of Art., is resolved. 307 (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
