In Poltava region in Mirgorod region, a drowned car with the bodies of three men was pulled out: the police launched a pre-trial investigation
The LADA Priora car with the bodies of people who drowned in the evening of September 25 in the Psel River, near the Hydroelectric Power Plant of the Velikosorochinsk terhromada of the Mirgorod region, was pulled out today about 12. Divers of the State Emergency Service were involved in the search work.
Information about the incident was received by the police on September 25 from the emergency service on duty, at about 17:30. According to preliminary data, the passenger car, in which there were four men, drove to the river from the pier. While the vehicle was moving, one of the passengers, a 49-year-old local resident, managed to jump out, the other three remained in the cabin.
At the time, police established the identities of the dead driver and two passengers. All three are residents of the village. Velyki Sorochyntsi Mirgorod district. Men 29, 55 and 57 years old.
According to this fact, a pre-trial investigation was launched under Part 3 of Art. 286 (Violation of the rules of road safety or operation of vehicles by the person driving the vehicle, which caused the death of several people) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Investigative actions continue.
