Another batch of 50 border posts designed to demarcate the state border between Ukraine and the Republic of Belarus was delivered to the site of the Ivankiv Border Service Department. New border signs are made in Kharkiv region from metal-plastic using modern technologies, which ensures their long-term operation without additional maintenance.

Signs are made of two types. The first - with Ukrainian symbols - for installation, as a rule, in those areas where the line of the state border passes through rivers, canals, and other water bodies. The second — common border signs with Ukrainian and Belarusian symbols — to be established, as a rule, for marking the state border on land.

Currently, measures to demarcate the Ukrainian-Belarusian state border continue within the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone.

Recall that the general coordination of measures for the demarcation of the state border of Ukraine is carried out by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

The task of drawing the state border line to the area in accordance with the materials of delimitation and the establishment of border signs is entrusted to the State Geocadastre.

The border agency is responsible for observing the state border regime during the implementation of measures related to the demarcation of the state border, as well as providing elements of border signs and related materials.
