In Kyiv region, the training of an operational company began with the participation of Canadian instructors of the operation “UNIFIER”
Training is conducted by the Training Center for Unit Training with the participation of Canadian instructors of the Joint Operational and Tactical Group of the Armed Forces of Canada in Ukraine (Operation “UNIFIER”). Canadian colleagues will provide both advisory assistance and conduct classes, as well as adjust the training to NATO standards.
“I am very happy to conduct classes with the soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine. With this course you will reach a new level in your training. I, and all Canadian instructors, are eager to teach you our tactics and take the experience from you. We hope for decent cooperation,” said the chief instructor from the Canadian side.
Over the course of six weeks, the guards will gain knowledge of the process of troop management (TLP) and communication according to NATO standards, tactics of movement and fire training, tactical medicine and military topography, actions at the checkpoint during vehicle inspection, combat in settlement conditions and mine safety. After the training of detachments and platoons, as an exam, there will be three days of field maneuvers as part of the company.

I want to wish you endurance and patience, strength of spirit and will to win, because these components will be indispensable during the passage of all stages of preparation,” said Colonel Oleksandr Kryachko, Head of the International Center before the start of classes.
It should be said that before the arrival of the personnel of the company for training at the International Center at the point of permanent deployment by a mobile group of instructors of the Training Center, as well as with the participation of instructors, the project of the center “Patriot” (m. Kharkiv) was carried out in-depth individual training of each serviceman and training as part of groups in professional areas.
