An official was detained today, January 4, while receiving 26,000 hryvnias of illegal benefits.
For the specified amount, the head of one of the city departments promised to help the entrepreneur in obtaining an operating permit for the processing of inedible products of animal origin. Namely: inspection of facilities (facilities) in order to establish their compliance with technical regulations and influence on the officials of the Central Board of the State Service of Ukraine for their positive decision making.
Today, January 4, the operatives of the Strategic Investigations Department in the Dnipropetrovsk region of the National Police, together with law enforcement colleagues, exposed an official during the receipt of illegal benefits. In the service office, law enforcement officers seized 26,000 hryvnias. The official was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
The issue of notifying the detainee about the suspicion is resolved. Criminal proceedings are investigated under Part 3 of Art. 368 (acceptance of an offer, promise or receipt of an illegal benefit by an official) and Part 3 of Art. 369-2 (abuse of influence) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Procedural management is carried out by Kryvyi Rih Northern District Prosecutor's Office.
