The Kalanchak and Chongar checkpoints operate on the administrative border with the Total Autonomous Republic of Crimea in the regular mode
We remind, according to the decision of the Head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, the work of the Chaplynka checkpoint was temporarily suspended — from June 19 to July 15, 2021. At the same time, the checkpoints “Kalanchak” and “Chongar” operate in regular mode.
This weekend at the checkpoints “Kalanchak” and “Chongar”, both for entry and exit, the border guards of the Kherson detachment registered 7.2 thousand people and 383 vehicles.
18 Ukrainian citizens were denied passage to the temporarily occupied Crimea by border guards due to faulty passport documents and lack of properly executed documents for the departure of children.
To administrative responsibility for violation of the procedure for entering and leaving the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine, the servicemen brought 11 people who were going through the Crimea from the Russian Federation to Ukraine.
Also, at the checkpoint “Chongar” border guards found a foreign car with a discrepancy between the identification number on the frame of the car and in the registration document of the vehicle. On the detection of signs of a crime provided for in Art. 121-1 KUPAP border guards informed the officers of the National Police.
