Checkpoint “Chaplynka” is closed: repair work continues
At the administrative border with the temporarily occupied Crimea, two entry-exit checkpoints - “Kalanchak” and “Chongar” - continue to work around the clock.
Currently, an average of 3.5 thousand people and 200 vehicles cross both directions of the administrative border every day.
Recall that the work of the entry-exit checkpoint “Chaplynka”, by the decision of the Kherson regional state administration, in connection with the repair work of the checkpoint infrastructure, has been temporarily suspended since June 7, 2021. Currently, due to repair work, the closure of the Chaplynka checkpoint has been extended until September 15, 2021.
It should also be noted that the cessation of operation of the check point “Chaplynka” entry-exit did not significantly affect the overall passenger flow, since before the closure of this checkpoint 8-10 people and 1-2 vehicles crossed during the day.
