Border controlled by modern drones
The advantages of multi-rotor drones are high mobility and maneuverability. Only a few minutes are enough to prepare them for flight, and with the possibility of hovering in the air, they have a stable and high-quality video transmission that allows detailed recognition of targets and objects.
On the basis of the Training Center for the Application and Operation of Unmanned Aircraft Systems of the Main Personnel Training Center, the personnel of the Lviv, Lutsk, Mukachevo border detachments and the 10th mobile border detachment were completed.
The border guards compiled the qualification tests for the control of the quadcopters Matrice 200V2 and DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual.
During the training, the operators studied regulatory acts and administrative and administrative documents, considered issues of organization and execution of flights, engineering and aviation support, structure and procedure for using the airspace of Ukraine, etc.
Also, during training flights, border guards carried out air monitoring of the training area of the state border for the detection of signs of illegal activity, surveyed the specified areas for the search for violators and carried out their escort.
