The commander of the National Guard checked the readiness of units of the National Guard as part of the Joint Forces
The commander of the National Guard of Ukraine, Colonel General Mykola Balan, visited the area of the operation of the Joint Forces, where he checked the readiness of the forces and means of the NGU to perform the specified tasks. He also listened to the report of the Deputy Commander of the Joint Forces Operation on the use of forces and means of the NGU and got acquainted with the operational situation.
During the report, Major General Hussein Vishanov stressed that the personnel of the NGU, which is involved in the operation of the Joint Forces, is ready to fulfill the tasks set.
In addition, the commander of the NGU visited the block-posts, where he checked the conditions of service of the guards and their moral and psychological state.
Colonel-General Mykola Balan paid special attention to the issues of comprehensive provision and readiness of units to perform service-combat tasks.
“Currently, National Guard units have considerable experience in conducting combat operations and equipment. We are ready to defend the state, its territorial integrity and inviolability. Our state has professional and motivated servicemen,” he said. The commander talked with the personnel and awarded the servicemen with departmental awards for conscientious performance of
their duties, personal courage and courage.
