The commander of the National Guard of Ukraine on the Day of the Medical Worker presented a certificate for medical equipment for a military hospital
On the eve of the professional holiday of medical workers, Colonel General Mykola Balan visited the military hospital located in the city of Zolochiv, Lviv region. The commander congratulated the medical workers and presented a certificate for receiving medical equipment in the amount of about 600 thousand hryvnias, as well as thanks to international cooperation The hospital received medical equipment for 15 million
hryvnias. Among them are a field mobile medical center, a mobile X-ray room and diagnostic equipment, thanks to which it is possible to diagnose and provide professional emergency medical care in the field and during the execution of assigned tasks in the area of the PLO.
Also for his high professional skills and the provision of qualified medical care, he was awarded departmental awards of hospital medical workers.
The commander of the National Guard of Ukraine expressed words of respect and boundless gratitude to the medical personnel of the military hospital and the entire National Guard, because only a person with a big heart is able to devote his life to medicine, giving all his knowledge and strength to such a noble cause.
“I express my gratitude to all medical professionals for their professionalism, conscientious and tireless work, I wish good health, success and new achievements, inspiration, well-being and good mood. Let the oath of the Hippocrates always be a service at the call of the soul, and not a difficult duty!”, — said the Commandant of NGU. Also, General-Colonel Mykola Balan stressed that the main efforts in the work of the medical service of NGU in 2020-2021 are aimed at preserving and improving health, preventing the occurrence and spread of infectious diseases, in particular, carrying out anti-epidemiological measures to combat Covid-19.
It is worth noting that the military hospital of the National Guard of Ukraine is the only medical institution in the National Guard. Here they provide qualified medical and advisory assistance to servicemen, as well as members of their families, carry out hospital and garrison military medical examination and conduct medical examination of servicemen.
In addition, since the beginning of the fighting in the East of the country, the hospital's medical personnel were rotationally dispatched to the area of the anti-terrorist operation and the operation of the Joint Forces.
For reference: During 2019-2021, our doctors daily prevented the occurrence and spread of infectious diseases by their actions and organized anti-epidemic measures, in particular, to counteract the spread of COVID-19.
Thus, in December last year, the National Guard of Ukraine purchased equipment for conducting ELISA testing of personnel of the NGU for COVID-19 to create 8 laboratories where they conduct testing for covid. It is worth noting that since the beginning of the vaccination campaign in the National Guard of Ukraine, as of today, the I dose has been vaccinated - 56.5% of the total number of servicemen.
Since 2016, the National Guard has been actively training instructors in tactical medicine at the Vasily Vyshivny Training Center in Zolochiv. Currently there are 100. And also, already this year, according to the example of the leading NATO countries, 25 National Guardsmen received certificates of combat medic of the platoon.
In the Military Hospital of Military Unit 3080 in Zolochiv, 77 doctors work daily, 20 of whom are military doctors. During the year, they treated about 3,000 people, and mobile medical teams constantly participate in the OSCE.
The National Guardsmen receive their health at the Medical Center of the National Guard of Ukraine “Novi Sanzhary” thanks to 44 employees who treat the soldiers of the National Guard and their families throughout the year. In 2020, 833 people were rehabilitated in the center. Meanwhile, 1164 people received rehabilitation in the medical and rehabilitation center “Poplar”.
