The state award was presented by Colonel-General Nikolai Balan during the docking of the entire personnel of the military unit.

From February 2018 to February 2021, Sergeant Andrei Sitar served in a separate special purpose unit of military unit 3057. Being at a platoon stronghold, he saw the movement of an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group. Letting the enemy as close as possible, he opened machine gun fire on the enemy and immediately destroyed one of the militants. A year later, during a combat clash with the enemy, Comrade Andrey was wounded. Unfazed under the heavy fire of the enemy, Sergeant Sitar crawled up to the wounded comrade, brought him to consciousness, stopped the bleeding and dragged him to safety by the body armor. After assisting the wounded, Andriy Sitar returned and took up a fighting position, holding the defense of the attacked platoon stronghold until reinforcements approached.

Also, Colonel-General Nikolai Balan, for his conscientious attitude to the performance of official duties, encouraged four more servicemen of the local military unit.

In the course of work, a group of officers led by the commander listened to the commander of the military unit about the state of affairs, inspected the location, the units medical center, the library and kennel of service dogs, storage and maintenance of equipment.
