Yevhenii Yenin discussed with a delegation of British experts the prospect of starting Ukrainian-British dialogue on visa liberalization

Today, September 22, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevgeny Yenin met with British representatives Stephen Chapman and David McMahon. The event was also attended by the head of the State Migration Service Maxim Sokolyuk.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the procedure for registration and issuance in Ukraine of passport documents and implementation of border control procedures.

“Expanding the geography of visa-free travel for Ukrainians! A good start for an active Ukrainian-British dialogue could be the abolition of visas for holders of diplomatic and service passports,” Yevhenii Yenin said.

British experts were positively impressed by the level of security of the process of registration of passport documents in Ukraine.

Earlier, representatives of Great Britain visited the international checkpoint for air traffic “Boryspil” and the Main Expert and Forensic Center of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, as well as the Department of the Consular Service of the Foreign Ministry, the State Enterprise “Printing Plant “Ukraine” for the production of securities, the Citizen Service Center “Passport service”.
