Deputy Interior Minister Sergey Goncharov said that within the framework of the Ukrainian-French contract, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will receive Airbus Helicopters H-145 helicopters, which will be equipped with the latest technology. For our country, such modernization will be absolutely free, but it will make these models of helicopters more economical and fast.

“Thanks to the agreements reached, 8 out of 10 H-145 helicopters will be equipped with the latest technologies, for Ukraine it will be absolutely free. They will differ in other gearboxes and other blades — this will make them more economical and faster. This is really the latest modification. At the time of signing the contract, the development of such technologies was at the stage of implementation, so not all machines will be so equipped,” said Sergey Goncharov.

He added that during the All-Ukrainian Forum “Ukraine 30” two helicopters were presented, which were provided as part of the implementation of a large-scale Ukraine-French project.

“This project includes the delivery of 10 modern helicopters - H-145, which are intended for the needs of the National Police, 24 helicopters - H-125, which will serve for the tasks of the State Border Service and 21 machines - H-225 for the National Guard and the State Emergency Service. These helicopters will completely cover the needs of our CIOs. Each type of these machines is extremely modern, unique and capable of bringing the tasks of our units to a new level,” the Deputy Minister said.

Serhiy Goncharov stressed that the implementation of the Ukrainian-French contract is not only the supply of equipment, but also the creation of a Service Center for efficient maintenance of equipment, including the training of our technicians, as well as the creation of a modern training center on the basis of Kremenchuk Flight College.

“This is a well-known educational institution that has trained thousands of pilots for Ukraine and the world. Therefore, our training center will also be one of the leading. We hope that this is an important step not only for Ukrainian, but also for world aviation,” he said.

Deputy Minister Anton Gerashchenko recalled that since April 1, the helicopter of the State Emergency Service has been on constant duty in Lviv region to provide emergency assistance to the population of six western regions. In addition to the flight crew, medics will be on duty at the station.

“Since April 1 alone, it has been possible to provide assistance to seven citizens living in remote areas. And instead of many hours of transportation by cars, patients were delivered to medical institutions in just an hour,” said Anton Gerashchenko.

Recall, Arsen Avakov said that the Ministry of Internal Affairs is deploying the infrastructure for servicing aircraft equipment.
