Engineering units of the National Guard modernize fortifications in the area of the PLO
The engineering unit of the National Guard of Ukraine, which performs tasks in the area of operation of the Joint Forces, carries out modernization of defensive fortifications at checkpoints and places of service of platoon support guard groups.
“Military engineers upgrade the positions of the guards, because in today's conditions the security of the guards remains the same and a key priority. We must create all the conditions for our servicemen to be safe: from the elements of everyday life, ending with ensuring the protection of soldiers in the field of service,” said Major General Hussein Vishanov.
“Guards-engineers can rightly be called one of the most sought-after specialists, here in the east of our country. After all, their work is a constant risk for the safety of civilians and the military,” shares the guard with the nickname “Hutsul”.
One of the key tasks assigned to the engineering units of the National Guard in the area of the PLO is engineering reconnaissance, the purpose of which is the timely detection of explosive objects, explosive devices and the clearance of liberated areas from objects that may pose a danger. The sappers of the National Guard in the area of the PLO have already managed to establish themselves as professionals in their field and the number of lives they saved, no one can count.
