Instructors of the French National Gendarmerie will help train units of the National Guard
In the International Interdepartmental Multidisciplinary Center for the Training of Units of the National Guard of Ukraine, located in the village of Stare in Kyiv region, the first stage of training of public security units began with the participation of representatives of the National Gendarmerie Force Training Center - CNEFG (France). The supply will last two weeks.
During the collective training of the NGU units, new European standards and approaches to the performance of public safety tasks will be worked out.
Before the start of the active phase of the exercises, Colonel Sebastien Dorden, the Law Enforcement Attaché of the Embassy of the French Republic in Ukraine arrived at the Center. Together with CNEFG instructors, the delegation got acquainted with the infrastructure of the tsuntra and got acquainted with Ukrainian equipment and personal protective equipment. In addition, they held consultations with the command of the training center.
“We appreciate your support and study your experience. Our instructors are trained at the Training Center for the Training of the French Gendarmerie Forces in the city of Saint-Astiers, and today, with the participation of representatives of this training unit, a training course for the training of the public security units of the National Guard of Ukraine begins here in Starom. Thank you for your experience and I hope for fruitful cooperation,” said Colonel Oleksandr Kryachko, Head of the International Center.
French guests stressed that the training center of the NGU units is well adapted to high-quality training of public security units. It has a new infrastructure, everything necessary is done here to ensure that the units that arrive have optimal conditions for training.
For reference: Such training between units of the National Guard and the Gendarmerie is taking place here for the second time. It promotes the exchange of experience between law enforcement officers and their training professions.
