Northern Union Guards Ensure Law Order in Uman During Rosh Hashanah Celebration
More than 200 guards of the Northern Operational and Territorial Association ensured public order and public safety during the celebration of Rosh Hashanah (New Year according to the Jewish calendar) in Uman.
Since September 1, the soldiers of the First Presidential Brigade of Operational Task Force named after Hetman Petro Doroshenko, together with the guards of military unit 3061 and employees of the National Police, have ensured the protection of public order in the city of Uman, during the Rosh Hashanah celebration.
“For coordinated actions, an interdepartmental operational headquarters was opened, which included servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine, employees of the National Police, representatives of the State Emergency Service and the Migration Service of Ukraine,” said a senior officer of the organization of the Public Order Service of the First Presidential Operative Brigade Appointment of the name of Hetman Petro Doroshenko, Major Myroslav Hrytsyk.
Through close cooperation, law enforcement was able to minimize the number of violations of public order and make the celebration safe for both pilgrims and locals.
