The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada on the occasion of the Constitution Day awarded the servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine
On the eve of the Constitution Day, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmitry Razumkov visited the Main Directorate of the National Guard of Ukraine. He chatted with servicemen and presented awards to the personnel of the National Guard.
The Chairman of the Parliament thanked the military for the service and protection of Ukraine. “The last seven years have been difficult for both the country and its citizens. They are especially difficult for those who defend our country. I understand how difficult it was for you to go through all this: to lose your friends, colleagues, subordinates,” said Dmitry Razumkov.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada congratulated the servicemen on the upcoming holiday - Constitution Day and wished them to bear the name of the Ukrainian officer of the National Guard of Ukraine with dignity.
“So that you feel and understand the responsibility that lies with you and feel the respect that exists for you today in society,” said the Speaker of Parliament. He also wished the military health, strength and inspiration.
“Always win and move forward in any situation. Let each next step be higher than the previous one,” said Dmitry Razumkov. The
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada and the participants of the event honored the memory of the guards who died near the Parliament building in August 2015.
“The guys who gave their lives in peaceful Kyiv, on the Constitution Square, defended the democratic principles and values of our country,” Dmytro Razumkov stressed.
