The exposition of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and NPU on combating domestic violence “Rich u tim” received the highest award
Today, July 13, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ekaterina Pavlichenko was solemnly awarded the highest award that can be received by advertising work in Ukraine - the Grand Prix of the Kiev International Advertising Festival, for the development and implementation of a large-scale information campaign - the exhibition “The Thing in Time”, dedicated to the topic of combating violence.
The exposition on combating domestic violence, which was exhibited six months ago on the capital's Mikhailovskaya Square, will not lose its significance for a long time. Currently, according to its concept, in different cities of Ukraine, police carry out preventive measures, drawing attention to the problem of violence in any manifestation and emphasizing its inadmissibility in society.
Ekaterina Pavlichenko thanked everyone who was involved in the implementation of this project for the qualitative implementation of the creative idea.
“This victory was made possible thanks to the synergy of the efforts of the Government, the creative team of the agency “Vintage” and our partners - the UN Population Fund, UNOPS and UN Women. As a result of hard work and despite quarantine restrictions, we managed to create an innovative product. Thanks to the exhibition “The Thing in Tim”, more and more people in our country understand that it is enough to tolerate and tolerate domestic violence, we need to act towards the complete eradication of this phenomenon,” the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs noted.
Currently the exhibition is located at the National Academy of Internal Affairs in Kyiv. It has become an additional interactive element of training, because having seen and heard real stories of domestic violence now, future police officers will not remain indifferent to such situations during the service.
“Our exhibition “The Thing in Tim” is a completely new way of interacting with society and a vivid example of how by combining the efforts of all stakeholders, high results can be achieved, and most importantly - to create a socially useful product,” said Kateryna Pavlichenko.
The Deputy Minister also announced the start of preparations for the World Action “16 Days Against Violence”, which traditionally takes place every year in late November - early December.
“It will also be a large-scale information campaign to raise awareness and draw the attention of Ukrainian society to the problem of domestic violence. We strive not only to show the existence of this problem, but also to provide tools and mechanisms to counter it,” the Deputy Minister noted.
Recall, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the NPU have launched a new stage of the information campaign to combat domestic violence.
