On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the National Security Service of Ukraine “Ukrposhta” launched the original envelope and stamp, today the official ceremony of repayment of the envelope took place
Today, June 23, the National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine held an envelope redemption ceremony. This is an imprint of a special stamp, which is put on an envelope, the issue of which is dedicated to outstanding dates.
A special stamp is made in a single copy, and after the ceremony it is destroyed.
This envelope, with an imprint and a holiday stamp, was issued by Ukrposhta for the centenary of the National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
Rector of the National Academy of Internal Affairs Volodymyr Cherney thanked “Ukrposhta” for its easy response to the initiative to create a special envelope.
“Dear friends, colleagues, what we see today is only the tip of the iceberg. The release of the envelope and the stamp was preceded by a lot of work. Thank you to everyone who participated in this process. This is a historical event, memories that will remain for future generations, because the next 100 years will pass, and this event will remain in memory,” Volodymyr Cherney said.
The Director of Security of Ukrposhta Anatoly Nazarenko on behalf of the Post congratulated the Academy on the landmark date and stressed that this is only the beginning of bilateral cooperation.
“I wish the Academy prosperity, because NASA is a sign of quality, your graduates are the pride of the country. Health to the scientific staff and employees of the Academy”, - noted Anatoly Nazarenko.
First Vice-Rector Stanislav Husarev said that it is not a simple matter - to design an envelope, because it should be stylish, modern and contain historical background. However, joint efforts with “Ukrposhta” managed to embody a modern design that would convey the centuries-old achievements of the educational institution.
The original stamp depicts the central facade of the Academy, and on the envelope there is a photo from the life of the NAVS - footage of the educational process, the release of drummers and the smallest students - lyceists. The circulation of envelopes is 350 thousand copies, can be purchased at all post offices.
It is worth noting that the envelope depicting the symbols of the NAVS was officially launched into circulation on June 4. However, the redemption ceremony takes place only once.
Recall that June 11 is the official day of the foundation of the National Academy of Internal Affairs. Anniversary events are planned to be held in conjunction with the next release of officers and the celebration of the Day of the
National Police of Ukraine on July 5, 2021.
