Denis Monastyrsky called on participants of mass events to observe law and order and respect those who stand in defense of public safety
On the eve of the mass actions announced in the capital, Interior Minister Denis Monastyrsky called on the participants of the events to observe law and order and be guided by a sense of public responsibility.
“I appeal to those who are going to take part in the mass actions on the first of December. I am a participant in both Maidanas, for me the right to expression of will, freedom of peaceful assembly and observance of the rights and freedoms of citizens are of high value. In the National Police and the National Guard there are also people who have passed through Maidanas, and even more so — participants in hostilities in the east of our country,” he said.
The head of the law enforcement agency stressed that every police officer and guard, who will protect public security by nature, respects the will of the public position: “They expect respect for themselves as for the defenders of public order, and will do everything possible to prevent provocations.”
Denis Monastyrsky stressed that Ukraine is unique for everyone: “It is our duty with you to protect it, both at the front and in the rear.”
