Denis Monastyrsky became the chairman of FST Dynamo
Today, November 16, the All-Ukrainian Conference of the Physical Culture and Sports Society “Dynamo” of Ukraine” took place, during which a new chairman was elected. He was Denis Monastyrsky.
Minister of Internal Affairs, newly elected chairman of FST “Dynamo Ukraine” Denis Monastyrsky said that Dynamo is a platform for different generations and the task of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to multiply the achievements of the athletes of the society.
“I am glad to see here not only law enforcement officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs. I want to form a position when the Dynamo society unites the different structures of our state. I am glad that representatives of various political forces are present, because the issue of sports development is a national issue. Soon we will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the company. And our task is to multiply, protect, improve what is now. Centralization of sports is the key to creating those victories that we then celebrate with the whole state. The achievements of Dynamo are the achievements of thousands of people - athletes, coaches, participants. This is what brings people from different fields together. Thank you for your trust, we are working together,” said Denis Monastyrsky.
During the conference, a new composition of the presidium of the society was selected, which included Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Bohdan Drapyaty, Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko, Rector of the National Academy of Security Service of Ukraine Andriy Chernyak.
First Deputy Chairman of FST “Dynamo” Ukraine” Viktor Korzh reported on the progress of implementation of statutory tasks of FST “Dynamo” Ukraine for the period from December 2019 to November 2021 and shared plans for the future.
“I am grateful to the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service and the State Emergency Service for cooperation in the development of sports. We are preparing for the 24 Winter Olympics, which will take place next year. Athletes from 95 countries will gather in Beijing. Candidates for participation in these games are 80 Ukrainian athletes, we are convinced that 12 athletes will perform in three sports”, - said Viktor Korzh.
The Minister of Internal Affairs Denis Monastyrsky awarded the winners and prizewinners of the complex competitions in non-Olympic sports under the Dynamada 2021 program among the national teams of the territorial organizations of the Society, as well as national teams of higher education institutions belonging to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
