Denys Monastyrskiy had a telephone conversation with the Minister of the Interior and Administration of the Republic of Poland Mariusz Kamiński

During the conversation that took place today, on November 12, particularly, the issues of the migration crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border were discussed. 

Denys Monastyrskiy assured the Polish Minister of the Interior and Administration of solidarity and support of the Polish government's position on the aggravation of the situation on the Polish-Belarusian border.

"Ukraine supports Poland in this difficult time and hopes that it will be able to resolve the artificially inspired crisis in a peaceful and civilized way," - the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine said.

Tomorrow, a coordination group of border guard officers and national guards will start working on the Ukrainian-Polish border. Its activities will be exchanging operational and intelligence data, as well as the experience of the Polish border guards' response, familiarization with the tactics of the actions of migrants and their coordinating forces. During the migration crisis, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the Minister of the Interior and Administration of the Republic of Poland Poland will hold weekly telephone calls.

"We are ready to promptly consider any request from the Polish party to provide assistance in resolving the current situation," Denys Monastyrskiy said. 

The Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine initiated meetings of the Ministers of Foreign and Internal Affairs on the platform of the Lublin Triangle to coordinate actions to effectively counter the challenges of a hybrid nature from the unfriendly states - the Russian Federation and Belarus.

The parties also discussed issues of law enforcement cooperation, in particular the intensification of work on a draft agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Poland on cooperation in the field of combating crime.

At the request of Denys Monastyrskiy, the Minister of the Interior and Administration of the Republic of Poland Mariusz Kamiński assured that Ukraine would remain in the "green zone" of travel.
