Cherkasy police reported the suspicion of one of the “spies” behind the detention center
“Authoritos” criminalize the establishment and dissemination of criminal influence in the detention center and the organization of a drug supply channel to the institution.
Previously convicted of theft and fraud, a local resident, while in a detention center, received the status of a so-called “spy” under one of the buildings of the special institution. Since then, the attacker has been in charge of collecting funds from dependents, organizing the supply of drugs to the isolation facility and being responsible for their distribution and marketing. Controlled the observance of “thieving traditions” by the arrested and incited them to commit unlawful acts.
All facts of criminal activity during the procedural events were documented by the operatives of the Strategic Investigations Department in the Cherkasy region of the National Police. On the basis of the evidence received, the investigators of the police investigative department informed the “inspector” about the suspicion, namely, the establishment and spread of criminal influence in the detention center (part 2 of Art. 255-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues (Part 2 of Art. 307 KKU).
In case of proof of guilt in court, the suspect may face up to 15 years with confiscation of property. Procedural management is carried out by the Cherkasy Regional Prosecutor's Office.
