Arsen Avakov: Technical equipment of our units has improved significantly - we have become much stronger than in 14-15 years
Today, June 5, on the basis of the Training Center of the National Academy of NGU, in the village of Pysarivka, Kharkiv region, tactical and special training of territorial units of the central executive bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took place, in which the National Guard of Ukraine, the National Police of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service took part.
Interior Minister Arsen Avakov noted that in recent years, technical equipment and personnel training of all CEVs have improved significantly.
“Today we have the second training in the second day. We check the readiness of our units to interact when everyone works together in various dangerous situations. These trainings are the quintessence of the work done by our units. We need to be ready for interaction in difficult conditions and we will respond to the aggressor with a high degree of readiness,” Arsen Avakov said.
First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Serhiy Yarovyi noted that the scenario of the exercises is based on real events, so the main goal of the exercises is interaction and coordination, unity of units in emergency situations.
“The exercises involve a large number of units and for us a fundamentally important task is the understanding of each commander, who must coordinate with other units. We plan to conduct such training in the western part of Ukraine to improve the skills of personnel,” the First Deputy Minister said.
According to the legend, the exercises are subversive - an intelligence group attacked a checkpoint. The commander of the block-post organized a circular defense with the focus of the main efforts from the side of the attack of the saboteurs, and also called up a quick reaction group from a separate special purpose detachment “AZOV”.
Suppressed by the forces of the National Guards, the saboteurs made a retreat, during which they tried to create maximum inconvenience to the Ukrainian defenders. They carried out an arson, resulting in a forest fire that spread to an area of about 5 hectares.
By the joint efforts of firefighters with the involvement of the CIS aviation, the emergency event was liquidated.
During the exercises, the rescuers also worked out a possible scenario for the elimination of an accident with the leakage of a chemical hazardous substance with the involvement of an armored reconnaissance and detection machine, pyrotechnic calculations, a special radiation and chemical reconnaissance machine and special emergency rescue vehicles.
Having carried out sabotage on the ammonia pipeline, the enemy tried to escape from the pursuit of the rapid response group of the special unit “AZOV”, but was destroyed.
