Anton Gerashchenko visited Bila Tserkva on a working visit
Today, June 17, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko paid a working visit to Bila Tserkva, a city with a population of more than 200,000, an important economic, cultural and educational center of Kyiv region.
During the meeting with the mayor of Belotserkov, Gennady Dyki, a number of important issues were discussed regarding cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Belotserkivsk city territorial community. In particular, it was about the installation of cameras for photo-video recording of traffic speed on the territory of the community, the construction of service housing for police officers, as well as combating drug addiction and the illegal trade of alcohol.
“I am convinced that security is an issue not only of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, but a common task of all authorities,” the deputy minister stressed.
He noted that the level of development of the community, business and all spheres of life is closely related to the level of security of each citizen. A good example of cooperation between local governments and the Ministry of Internal Affairs is the implementation of the project “Community Police Officer” in Belotserkivsk urban territorial community, which has proved to be very successful and should develop further.
During the visit Anton Gerashchenko visited KP “Belotserkivsky Cargo Aviation Complex”, where he got acquainted with the work of one of the largest hangars for maintenance of aircraft, and also visited the Operational Response Center, which provides effective communication of citizens with emergency services. Also Anton Gerashchenko took part in the Forum of Innovative Productions, which took place on the territory of the industrial park “Bila Tserkva”.
