Andriy Niebitov: “56 territorial communities of Kyiv region have already joined the project “Police Officer of the Community”
Today, October 7, the solemn opening of police stations took place in the villages of Mitnitsa, Velyka Buhaivka and Barakhty Vasylkivska TG. 5 community police officers came into service at these police stations.
Police officers of the community of the police station in the village of Mitnitsa were Police Captain Anatoly Libert and Police Major Valery Panashenko. They will work around the clock and serve 9 settlements.
Senior Lieutenant of Police Vladislav Kostenko and Senior Sergeant of Police Dmitry Boldin will stand guard 24/7 and will serve ten settlements, the police station will be located in the village of Barakhty.
The third police station is located in the village of Velyka Bugayivka. And police lieutenant Natalia Tkachuk will carry the service and be responsible for the peace of citizens.
All community police officers were trained and received appropriate certificates, pump guns, as well as keys to service cars.
The opening of the police station was attended by the leadership of the Main Directorate of Police of the Kiev region, employees of the Preventive Activities Department, the leadership of the Obukhiv District Police Department, representatives of the local self-government body and the head of the territorial community.
“The duties of the community police include the provision of not only police services, but also any assistance to the residents of the community. A policeman living in your community, like no one else understands the needs of the population and can provide professional assistance,” said the chief of police of the Kiev region Andriy Niebitov
The stations are equipped with everything necessary for work - modern computer and office equipment, furniture and Internet access.
It is worth noting that for police officers who care about the safety of community residents around the clock, the highest value and criterion for assessing work is the trust and respect of citizens.
