Britain is ready to partner with Ministry of Interior of Ukraine (PHOTO)

This was told during a meeting between Minister of Interior of Ukraine Arsen Avakov and Ambassador of Great Britain to Ukraine Judith Gough.

The Ambassador expressed interest in the process of reforming the Ministry of Interior and assured that the United Kingdom is planning to become a strategic partner of Ukraine in this direction.

"We are ready to consider certain directions in the Ministry of Interior. British side will be a reliable partner and ally" – Judith Gough said.

According to Arsen Avakov, the reform of National Police and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the introduction of NATO standards in the National Guard, the establishment of service centers of MIA and new model of personal data protection – are key areas of reform of the Ministry of Interior.

"Over past two years, Ukraine has built a new army, created new police and became ready to fight back everyone who will try to undermine safety of our borders," – the head of Ministry of Interior said.

Also, commenting the position of the Ministry on implement the Minsk agreements, Arsen Avakov said: "Security first, and then – elections in Donbas."
