Arsen Avakov Presents a Program for The De-Occupation of Donbass in Washington
On Tuesday, February 12, Arsen Avakov, the Minister of the MIA of Ukraine, will present a program for the de-occupation of the Donbas in the United States Institute of Peace (Washington).
"We are discussing the program of de-occupation of the Donbas in various ways, with the involving of peacekeeping forces and various modifications. Tomorrow, I will present our tactics of "Small Steps", the Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations of the US State Department, Kurt Volker will tell about his vision of the using of peacekeeping forces. It is important for us to achieve one level of understanding. We must clearly understand that the Minsk process slows down and finds no solution. Our strategic partner should conduct detailed consultations in order to avoid negative affect on Ukraine's interests," - Arsen Avakov said.
He stressed that Putin's Russia has its own position, but if Ukraine presents its clear vision and program, then the world community would understand that the Russia, as the aggressor is not ready to make any compromises.
