American Partners Are Interested in Ensuring the Process of Transparent and Democratic Elections in Ukraine, - Arsen Avakov
This was announced today, on February 11, by the Minister of the MIA of Ukraine Arsen Avakov during a meeting with George Kent, Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs.
"During the meeting, the issues on a number of projects that we have been conducting in recent years have been discussed. These are successful projects, and we are glad that our own accents and our American colleagues’ accents are the same. These are projects that we successfully implemented in the Border Guard Service, Patrol Police, and the Corps of the Operative-Rapid Action units," - Arsen Avakov said.
Arsen Avakov also said that USA partners interested in the provision of transparent and democratic elections in Ukraine.
"In addition, we have discussed a very important process that interests the American party. It is ensuring the process of fair and transparent elections in Ukraine. Both presidential and parliamentary. The American party pays great attention to this. And, I informed our colleagues that we will ensure democratic elections," - Arsen Avakov said.
As previously reported, the USA supported a program of the MIA on providing housing for policemen and rescuers on leasing terms.
