45 new vehicles for public order protection tasks will arrive at the military units of the NGU
Today, December 14, in Kyiv, drivers of military units of the National Guard of Ukraine were handed certificates and keys for new specialized cars for performing tasks outside the point of permanent deployment.
As noted by the deputy commander of the National Guard of Ukraine (from the service) Lieutenant General Mykola Mykolenko, over the past 2 years, units of the National Guard of Ukraine for the protection of public order in total received more than 100 units of such equipment.
“These are modern and comfortable cars that are suitable for our tasks in the city. On a daily basis, a large number of personnel are involved in patrols in order to prevent crimes and ensure the safety of citizens. Thanks to the new technology, the operational capabilities of the NGU units for the protection of public order will be improved,” he stressed.
These machines are made by order of the National Guard of Ukraine, taking into account the modern experience of service and the experience of international law enforcement agencies.
Specialized minibuses are made on the chassis of the car “Ford Tranzit” and are designed to perform tasks for the protection of public order, as well as to ensure the performance of tasks by a group of operational officers and the duty change of command posts outside the point of permanent deployment.
These days, cars will arrive at military units in different regions of Ukraine.
