41% of athletes who will represent Ukraine at the Tokyo Olympics have been trained on the basis of FST “Dynamo”
This became known during the regular meeting of the Presidium of the Dynamo Sports Society, which took place today, July 12, under the chairmanship of the Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov.
“We live in difficult times, but all our achievements are impossible without sports victories. I am proud that FST Dynamo has prepared 65 of 158 athletes for the Olympic Games. We wish them success,” Arsen Avakov noted.
First Deputy Chairman of FST Dynamo of Ukraine Viktor Korzh noted that all necessary conditions have been created for training and training of athletes.
“Despite the emergency situation associated with the coronavirus pandemic, we hope for high results in Ukraine. Athletes who were trained in FST Dynamo had a good material and technical base. A great contribution was made by the Ministry of the Interior and the Sports Committee of the National Guard. The leader of the preparation of Olympians is the Kyiv City Organization Dynamo — 18 athletes, Kharkiv Dynamo — 13, Donetsk — 7, Poltava — 6,” Viktor Korzh noted.
Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Vadim Gutzeit noted that there have never been such difficult conditions in preparation for the Olympics.
“Covid-19 has made its adjustments, but the best of the best are going to the Olympic Games. We hope and will hold our fists for our athletes,” he added.
