Destroyed enemy drones and a terrible find in the mountains: the results of the work of border guards
Border units continue to selflessly fulfill their duty and stand in defense of the state as an integral part of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
The other day, in the eastern direction, the border guards grounded fourteen enemy drones, with which the occupiers tried to hit the positions of the Ukrainian defenders. All kamikaze drones turned into scrap and spare parts without achieving their bloody goal.
In the Bakhmut direction, the border guards of the Luhansk detachment struck the point of contact of the occupiers. The FPV drone of the border guards hit directly into the satellite antenna.
But the troops of the Mukachevo border detachment conducted search activities in the mountains in order to find a citizen who lost his orientation.
On both sides of the border, Ukrainian and Romanian border guards launched search measures, however, due to the descent of the avalanche, there were no traces of people staying in the mountains.
At around 4am today, Romanian border guards detained two men who illegally crossed the Ukrainian-Romanian border.
Ukrainian citizens were detained. They reported that there was another man with them who disappeared from their sight.
Around 8 a.m., the Romanian side reported that the search results revealed the body of a Ukrainian citizen without signs of life.
In total, on February 13, 51 thousand people and 14 thousand vehicles crossed the western borders of Ukraine with the EU and Moldova (in the Chernivtsi region).
26 thousand people left Ukraine last day. 15 thousand of them crossed the border with Poland, the rest followed to other EU countries and Moldova.
Over the past day, 25 thousand people followed Ukraine, 22 thousand of them are citizens of Ukraine.
76 trucks with humanitarian aid were issued.
