They earned more than 600 thousand UAH on cars for the Armed Forces: the police detained the members of the group
The defendants were detained during the sale of four cars imported as humanitarian aid for the needs of the military. Among those detained are the head of a charitable organization, his wife and a resident of Bila Tserkva.
The police established that the head of a charitable organization organized a criminal scheme to import cars across the border and sell them in Ukraine. Having privileges for importing goods from abroad, I decided to use them for my own enrichment. In order to realize his selfish plan, he involved his wife and a resident of the White Church.
The organizer and accomplice brought vehicles as humanitarian aid for further free transfer to the military. Using such a “scheme”, dealers imported cars at zero customs clearance. In the future, SUVs and minibuses were brought to a presentable appearance and put up for sale on a specialized Internet site.
Wife and accomplice negotiated, prepared documents for sale and showed cars to potential buyers, carried out all necessary calculations with them.
On September 6, law enforcement officers detained the defendants for the sale of four cars imported as humanitarian aid and registered for a charitable organization. For them, the participants of the transaction received almost 16,000 euros. All were detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. The issue of reporting suspicion under Part 3 of Art is resolved. 201-2 (Illegal use for profit of humanitarian aid, charitable donations or gratuitous assistance) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
