Zaporizhzhya direction: the commander of the National Guard visited the fighters of the brigade “Spartan” and “Red Viburnum”
The commander of the National Guard Oleksandr Pivnenko visited the units of the guards in the Zaporizhzhya direction. In particular, the commander met with the fighters of the operational brigade “Spartan” and “Red Viburnum”.
“Communicating with the brigade command, with company and battalion commanders, we conducted a more detailed analysis of the enemy's tactics and operational situation to plan our further actions,” Oleksandr Pivnenko noted.
According to him, significant attention is now paid to improving logistics conditions, comprehensive provision and fortification equipment of positions, observation and support points. The National Guard continues to do its job effectively. Over the course of a week, air reconnaissance and artillery, along with the infantry, suppressed the enemy's assaults, destroyed its tanks, other armored vehicles, and fire equipment.
567 enemy targets were detected. Most of them were destroyed or disabled by units of the NGU in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces.
“All this work in the complex, as well as the dedication, courage, courage of our soldiers - allows us to resist the enemy and prevent him from destroying our cities and implementing his plans,” said the commander of the NGU.
