Over the past year in Ivano-Frankivsk, a mobile group for combating domestic violence responded to almost 2 thousand calls
The main tasks of the mobile team for responding to the facts of domestic violence are prompt and qualitative response, providing comprehensive assistance to victims, as well as carrying out preventive work with offenders.
During the past year, the police responded to 1831 reports related to domestic violence. According to the results of the checks carried out, almost 800 such facts were confirmed. For 569 offenders, administrative materials were compiled under Art. 173-2 KupAp.
During this period, 660 women, 127 men and 50 children were affected by domestic violence in Ivano-Frankivsk.
In order to immediately stop the facts of domestic violence and prevent it in the future, police officers issued almost 600 urgent prohibition orders against abusers and initiated 16 criminal proceedings.
