More than 6 thousand people turn to the Points of Inviolability of the State Emergency Service for the day, - Denis Monastyrsky
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine announced this today, December 13, during a meeting with the delegation of extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassadors of the countries of the G7 group in Ukraine in one of the Points of Inviolability. Foreign guests saw what the Point of Inviolability traditionally consists of, the functioning of which is provided by the local authorities, the State Emergency Service and the NPU.
“We are grateful to the G7 countries for the support of the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs this year, namely for Germany's leadership in 2022 and its efforts to strengthen the capabilities of our bodies. We look forward to the priorities of the ambassadors of the “G7” countries for the next year, in particular in the field of activity of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. We are confident that under the presidency of Japan in 2023, cooperation with the security sector will be at a high level. Next year will not be easy for our country, but we are moving forward to victory,” said the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
According to Denis Monastyrsky, in total in Ukraine there are more than 4 thousand Points of Inviolability. The most popular among people are mobile points, which are visited by almost 90% of citizens.
“Without exaggeration, the points of the State Emergency Service are the basis of all Points of Inviolability in the country, of which there are already more than a thousand units at the moment. In total, half a million citizens received assistance in the points, 239 thousand of them in the Points of Inviolability of the State Emergency Service, where on average more than 6 thousand people seek help per day. Also, 900 similar points operate on the basis of police departments and departments. However, there is a need to deploy additional points of invulnerability in the amount of 1500 units, but the minimum cost of one equipped item is 17 thousand euros, so we count on the support of our partners,” added the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
