“I have to be where I will benefit the most,” - border guard Sergey
In peaceful life, the man was engaged in his favorite business - cinema and television directing. With the beginning of a full-scale invasion, like a significant part of Ukrainians, they defended their native land with weapons in their hands. Now he is a border guard.
Sergey is undergoing training at the Training Center of the Maritime Guard. According to the 24-year-old defender, he had no idea that the cause, which he adores most of all, would change to a naval uniform and replenish the ranks of the defenders of the sea frontiers.
“Never in my mind did such horror appear that the enemy would come to my land, to my home, innocent people would die and we would hide little angels every day. And so we must unite and do everything to defeat the Russian occupiers and that they never come to our land,” Serhiy says.
Now the border guard, together with fellow warriors, is undergoing powerful training at the Maritime Guard Training Center. Each of the guys in theory and in practice will work out the struggle for the viability of the surface ship, the main issues of maritime practice, where the most important will be the saving of human life on the water.
Sergey will personally have the opportunity to learn how to use both individual and collective means on the water, to work out the elements of fighting fires on the ship.
Classes on fire training, acquaintance with the latest models of weapons, skills in handling small arms are all integral components of the training that awaits the border guard, in order to subsequently adequately defend the sea borders of his native Ukraine.
