Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs received a batch of forensic equipment
Assistance to cadets was provided by the NPCC Forensic Capability Network (FCN) network of forensic units of the police of England and Wales.
During the war, all units of the National Police work in a strengthened mode not only to detect crimes of general criminal orientation, but also to combat crimes. The issue of using modern technical means is very relevant and British colleagues have not stood aside in these difficult times for our country.
For use in the educational process and practical activities of expert forensic units of the National Police of Ukraine, the first batch of forensic equipment was transferred to Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, which included computer and photographic equipment.
A second batch of forensic equipment has already been assembled and is being prepared for transfer, which includes cameras, forensic illuminators, including Foster + Freeman's unique stationary forensic illuminators, copy stands, electronic scales, heat welders, laboratory utensils and other forensic equipment.
The equipment came directly from the forensic units of the police of England and Wales through the Forensic Capability Network (FCN), which is part of the National Police Chiefs Council (NPCC), with the personal assistance of FCN Network's Head of Personnel Strategy, Joan Morrissey.
The transfer of equipment is only part of the scientific and practical cooperation between KHNUVS and FCN, which is implemented on the initiative of the rector of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Valery Sokurenko and the direct assistance of the head of the research laboratory on problems of psychological support of law enforcement activities Oleksiy Serdyuk, a leading researcher research laboratory on problems of scientific support of law enforcement activities and quality of training of Tatiana Matyushkova.
KHNUVS
