According to the head of the investigative department of the Kharkiv police, Sergey Bolvinov, to identify the dead couple, a DNA sample was provided by their son. During the attack, he was in touch with his mother and asked his parents to run to hide. But they failed to survive.
From Cherkasy region, police are waiting for DNA samples of the brother of the deceased 35-year-old woman, a mother of three children.
Work continues on the selected samples of three relatives. Samples collected in the morgue were sent to a mobile DNA laboratory.
At the site of the explosions, law enforcement officers found remnants of enemy weapons: fragments of the fuselage and wings, elements of the guidance and navigation system, connectors of electrical networks, parts of control.
The police have already established that the detonation of three Shahed UAVs, which flew from Russia, took place.
