From 2 to 8 thousand dollars for crossing the border: border guards expose violators (VIDEO)
The border guards of the Mukachevo detachment detained four people who tried to cross the Tisa. The violators are two Khmelnitsky residents and two Kiev residents. At night, the men went to look for shallow places on the river section of the border to get into Romania. Several times they dared to enter the water, but returned and continued the search.
The actions of the violators from the air were monitored by the operator of the air monitoring the situation. He reported to the officer on the identification of a group of men. A response team immediately went to search, 15 meters from the state border the men were detained. They were taken to the unit. The men told - they intended to cross the border. To do this, they found transporters. Each of the violators paid 2 thousand dollars to the organizers of the illegal border crossing.
In relation to the detainees, protocols were drawn up on administrative offenses provided for in Art. 204-1 KUPAP “Illegal crossing or attempted illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine”. Cases are sent to court.
Meanwhile, the border guards of the Podolsk detachment with the help of a drone detected a group of people heading towards the Pridnestrovsky region of Moldova. They were all detained. As it turned out, the violators used the Internet service to lay a route to a neighboring country. For this, each of the participants had to pay 80 thousand hryvnias to the organizer.
In relation to illegal travelers, protocols on administrative offenses under Part 2 of Article 204-1 have been drawn up. Cases are sent to court.
Also in Odesa region, border guards with warning shots detained “brilliant” border violators. Four men of eligible age were detained by the border guards of the Belgorod-Dnestrovsky detachment. Violators prepared carefully for crossing the border. In order not to get into the field of view of the thermal imaging device, they wrapped themselves in an isothermal rescue blanket, which they fixed on themselves with adhesive tape. Nevertheless, the technical capabilities of the border guards are powerful. So, noticing the border guards, the men began to flee. Violators did not respond to the repeated demands of border guards to stop. Only the warning shots of law enforcement officers forced them to stop.
Detainees were residents of Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava and Sumy regions. They found the route of movement through various Internet messengers. For such a trip, they also paid differently - from 3 to 8 thousand dollars each.
Protocols on administrative offenses under Part 2 of Art. 204-1 KUPap “Illegal crossing or attempted illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine” and according to Art. 185-10 KUPA “Malicious disobedience to a lawful order or requirement of a serviceman or employee of the State Border Service of Ukraine or a member of a public formation for the protection of public order and the state border”. The decision on the detainees will be made by the court.
In total, on February 28, 58 thousand people and 15 thousand vehicles crossed the western borders of Ukraine with the EU and Moldova (in the Chernivtsi region).
31 thousand people left Ukraine. 18 thousand of them crossed the border with Poland, the rest followed to other EU countries and Moldova.
27 thousand people followed to Ukraine, 23 thousand of them - citizens of Ukraine.
