Vasil Teteriya: The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Arizona Defense and Industrial Coalition agreed to cooperate to speed up the Victory
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine held a meeting between the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and representatives of the Defense and Industrial Coalition of Arizona. The delegation was led by President and Chief Executive Officer of the Coalition and the Global Defense-Industrial Alliance, Lindy Smith.
She assured us of her readiness to cooperate for the recovery of Ukraine after the war. Also, representatives of the delegation expressed their readiness to cooperate for the sake of the fastest approach to our Victory.
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Vasyl Teteria told the partners that the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in particular, the National Guard, the State Border Service and the National Police are involved in a large-scale war against the occupiers on the front line.
“We understand perfectly well that the acceleration of our Victory depends not only on the efforts of our fighters, but also on international efforts and international assistance that our partners can provide us,” Teterya said.
Overall, the meeting was diverse and promising. After all, the Arizona Defense Industrial Coalition, which was created on the initiative of the late Senator John McCain, includes about 1,200 different defense companies.
Their products were presented by manufacturers of generators, solar panels and various power supplies that would be useful to the brigades of the “Guards of the Offensive”.
There were also weapons manufacturers, they talked about their micro-guns, about other equipment and weapons that they manufacture. It is important that they are interested not only in the transfer of finished products, but also in opening production lines in Ukraine.
Helicopter manufacturers have presented several models that they could offer us. In addition, they emphasized that thanks to the well-built logistics infrastructure of their companies, they can supply us not only their products, but also the necessary spare parts as soon as possible.
As a result of the meeting, not only an agreement was reached on deepening cooperation with the structure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. An agreement has been reached that we will communicate our needs, we must clearly choose the positions that interest us and inform the partners of intentions so that they can attract not only their own resources or those of the US government, but also those of the private sector and, perhaps, companies from other countries.
Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs thanked the American partners for their understanding and support and stressed that it is our cooperation that will accelerate our Victory.
Recall that on September 21 in Washington, in the presence of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the Memorandum of Cooperation and Development of Joint Projects between the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine, the Global Defense-Industrial Alliance, the Arizona Defense Industrial Coalition and Aerospace and the Utah Defense Association.
