The government has adopted a resolution that minimizes the risks associated with the use of civil defense tools
Today, May 26, at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the resolution “On approval of the Technical Regulation of Civil Protection Means” was adopted.
One of the components of eliminating the risks of emergency situations associated with fires, explosions, leaks of hazardous substances and naturally hazardous phenomena is to ensure the functional capacity and safety of civil protection equipment used to protect the population and objects during the performance of emergency and rescue and other emergency works, extinguishing fires.
The problem lies in the fact that today there is no single regulatory act that defines clear requirements and procedures for assessing the conformity of civil protection means. And as a result, during the use of civil protection means, there is a high rate of death and injury to the personnel of the civil defense forces.
The adoption of the resolution will minimize the risks associated with the use of civil defense tools.
