Ukrainian women began to move behind trucks. Helping them to master a new profession is one of the Swedish non-profit organizations that launched the first free training project in our country.

The OnTrack training course provides an opportunity for women to gain the profession of truck driver. The program consists of theoretical and practical training. Participating in the project are women who have a category B driver's license and three years of driving experience. Among them are servicemen, volunteers and forcibly displaced persons.

After completing the training, the project participants successfully passed the exams in one of the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the capital and received a driver's license of category C.

Among them is volunteer Lyudmila. The woman successfully passed the practical exam in the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the first attempt.

“I often travel as part of humanitarian missions. From now on, I can get behind the wheel, or replace another driver on a long journey. I tried to drive even a tank, but I like to drive a truck more,” Lyudmila said.

Participants of the training program assure that this project is very relevant, especially in today's conditions. Thanks to mastering a new profession, they will be able to continue to help and support not only the Ukrainian military, but also the country as a whole in this difficult time.
